Is Cozi still free in the UK?

Cozi is a family organiser made by Cozi Inc. in the US. Its own materials describe:

• a shared family calendar
• shopping and to-do lists
• chores assigned to people
• a recipe box
• up to 12 people on one account
• read-only calendar feeds from Google, Outlook and Apple

Two limits are worth knowing. Cozi's FAQ says files and images cannot be attached to events or lists. It also says Cozi does not offer a restricted-access role, so everyone on the account sees the same things.

The free version costs nothing and shows ads. Cozi's own plans page lists Cozi Gold at US$39 a year and Cozi Max at US$79 a year. Cozi Max adds an AI meal planner. Cozi prices its plans in US dollars on its website, while the UK App Store lists several Gold prices in pounds. The safest check is the price shown in the app before you subscribe.

Yes. Cozi is on the UK App Store, where it is rated 4.7 from about 22,000 ratings, and on Google Play. The UK App Store lists it in English only. Cozi's privacy policy names OurFamilyWizard, LLC as the operator; OurFamilyWizard announced it had acquired Cozi on 4 May 2022.

A free calendar is often enough if your household mainly needs one shared diary and a shopping list, and you are happy to see ads. It starts to feel thin when the family admin spreads further: bills and warranties, a household budget, a grandparent or carer who should see only part of the plan, or children who live across two homes. That is when it is worth comparing apps side by side. Our Cozi alternatives in the UK page and the family organiser apps comparison set the facts out in one table, and best family calendar apps UK covers the calendar on its own.

Haevn has no free tier. It costs £6.99 a month or £69.99 a year for up to 8 members, with 14 days free and no card needed. There are no ads in the app. It brings the calendar, Lists, Meal Planner, Pot, Chores, Family Chat, House, Carer Mode and Co-Parenting into one plan, in 16 languages. Worth knowing: Cozi has a free version, native iOS and Android apps, and room for 12 people. Haevn has no native apps yet; the web app installs to your home screen. For calendars, Haevn offers one-click add to Google or Outlook. Two-way sync coming soon. See the full Haevn vs Cozi comparison and Haevn pricing.
