    Who we are

Haevn Ltd ("Haevn", "we", "us") is a company registered in Scotland, company number SC886349. Our registered address and contact details are available at support@haevn.co.uk.

    What data we collect

When you use our website or sign up, we may collect:

    • Contact information: your first name and email address, provided when you request an invite.
    • Usage data: pages visited, interactions, referral source, browser type, device, and IP address, collected automatically via cookies and analytics tools.
    • Cookie preferences: your consent choice stored locally in your browser.

    How we use your data

    • To set up your account and manage your subscription.
    • To send you The Haevn Edit, our weekly newsletter (you can unsubscribe at any time).
    • To understand how visitors use our website so we can improve it.
    • To measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns.

    Cookies & tracking

We use a granular cookie consent banner. All optional categories default to OFF. You can change your choices any time via "Cookie preferences" in the footer. Changes apply to subsequent events on the next page navigation.

    Strictly necessary (always on)

Stores your cookie consent choice in your browser's local storage. No third-party scripts.

    Plausible Analytics (always on)

Plausible Analytics: cookieless, EU-hosted (Plausible Insights ehf, Iceland). Page views and CTA events. No cookies, no IP storage. Plausible runs on every page load because it does not set cookies or store personal data.

    Google Analytics 4 (opt-in)

Google Analytics 4: Measurement ID G-NQ5QKEQY7X. Sets _ga and session cookies. Processed by Google LLC with EU data routing. Configured for IP anonymisation, Google Signals OFF, Ad personalisation OFF, 2-month data retention, Restricted Data Processing for UK/EEA, device-based reporting only.

    Marketing (opt-in)

Meta (Facebook) Pixel: Pixel ID 1668646234325337. Sets _fbp cookie. Processed by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd, with onward transfer to Meta Platforms Inc. (US). Used to measure the effectiveness of Haevn's own ads. Limited Data Use enabled for UK/EEA. Advanced Matching disabled. Fires PageView and InitiateCheckout (CTA clicks) only.

    Platform performance (hosting layer)

Our hosting provider collects anonymous page performance metrics (load speed, layout stability, responsiveness, time to first byte) on every page load. This is measured by the hosting platform, not by Haevn, and is not controlled by the consent categories above. It is used only to monitor site performance. Lawful basis: legitimate interest.

Marketing pixels do not fire unless you explicitly opt in via the "Marketing" toggle. You can also reject everything from the banner. Consent is stored locally and re-prompted after six months.

    Legal basis for processing

We process your data based on:

    • Consent: for cookies and marketing communications.
    • Legitimate interest: for understanding website usage and improving our service.
    • Contract: to provide your subscription and deliver the Service.

    Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the third-party services listed above (Google, Meta) for analytics and advertising purposes, and with our hosting provider to operate the website.

    Data retention

We retain your contact information for as long as you have an active account or are subscribed to our newsletter. Analytics data is retained in accordance with the default retention periods of Google Analytics and Meta.

    Research notify-me list

If you sign up to be notified about a Haevn research publication (for example, the UK family admin time study 2026), we collect your email address and, optionally, your first name. The legal basis is your consent.

Your email is used solely to send you one notification when that specific research is published. We do not add you to any marketing list, do not share your address with third parties, and do not use the address for any other purpose.

We will delete your email 30 days after we publish the research, or 12 months after you sign up if the research is cancelled or significantly delayed, whichever comes first.

You can ask to be removed from the list at any time by emailing support@haevn.co.uk. We will action removal requests within 30 days.

    Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

    • Access the personal data we hold about you.
    • Request correction or deletion of your data.
    • Withdraw consent at any time.
    • Object to processing based on legitimate interest.
    • Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@haevn.co.uk.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, see how to make a data protection complaint.
