The Plan: a family calendar that works for everyone

Colour-coded, synced across the household, and able to absorb school calendars, work shifts, and after-school clubs without the WhatsApp shuffle.

Colour-coded per person. Day, week, and agenda views.

    Calendar feed sync

Bring in Google, Outlook, iCal, and school calendars.

Read-only feeds, refreshed regularly. Your work calendar stays at work.

    Conflict detection

Flags clashes before you commit to them.

Looks across every member when you create or accept an event.

    Recurring events and shifts

Built for shift patterns and after-school clubs.

Custom recurrence rules, including week-on-week-off and 4-on-4-off.

    Linked persons and locations

Know who is going where, with whom.

Tag events with attendees from your Circle and a location field.

    Who it's for

Dual-income families, separated parents coordinating handovers, shift workers (NHS, police, fire), and households with after-school clubs. If your week needs more than one calendar to track, The Plan is for you.

How it fits with the rest of Haevn

The Plan is built to work with the rest of the household. The natural pairings:

    Common questions

Can I sync my Google Calendar?

Yes. Add a Google Calendar feed and your events show up in The Plan. The feed is read-only, so your Google data stays in Google.

    Can my partner edit events?

Yes, if their role in The Circle has edit permissions. You can also create events that only you can edit, useful for personal appointments visible to the household but not modifiable by others.

    What about school calendars?

Most UK schools publish term dates and event calendars as iCal feeds. Add the URL to The Plan and the school's calendar appears alongside the rest.

Can co-parents share specific events without sharing everything?

Yes. Mark an event as shared with your co-parent and only that event crosses households. Personal events stay private.

Does The Plan work for shift patterns?

Yes. Recurring rules cover week-on-week-off, 4-on-4-off, three-on-three-off, and custom patterns. Set the rotation once.
